Questions and Answers.
What is Nimmermeer?
Nimmermeer is a participatory „friends for friends“ festival happening for the fourth time in 2026. Tickets aren’t available to the public—all attendees were personally invited by the planning team. This creates a uniquely familiar and intimate vibe at the festival. You can find more info about our participation concept below.
Participation
We are non-commercial and want to keep it that way. We need your active support on-site to make the magic happen. That’s why pitching in during setup and teardown, at the bar, in the Awareness Team, or in one of the many other areas is just part of the fun. We’ll provide a sign-up list for shifts in advance.
Nimmermeer is what we all make of it together.
Awareness
Awareness
We’ve developed our own awareness concept for Nimmermeer. You can read all about it here.
Arrival & Departure
The address of the site is: Klingemühle 4, 15848 Friedland
Here are your travel options:
Shuttle Service: We will offer a shuttle service for urgent cases, but please keep this as the exception. This service will only be available at specific times and in very limited capacity. More info will follow in the Telegram group under „An-/Abfahrt“ (Arrival/Departure).
By Bassliner: Departs from Berlin Ostbahnhof. Book here.
By Bike and Train: Take the train to Grunow station. Keep in mind that trains have limited capacity for bikes, so try to coordinate in the Telegram group!
By Bike: It’s also worth checking the Telegram group for this, so you can ride together in groups.
By Car: You can also drive instead of taking the train, and we do have parking available on-site. Please coordinate with each other! If everyone drove alone, you’d have to park in the nearby villages of Seelübbe or Seehausen and walk to the site. It’s best to form groups and fill up empty seats via the Telegram ride-sharing group—plus, it’s better for the environment.
Festival start & end
Our Mall opens on Friday at 5:00 PM. The program kicks off at 6:00 PM, so get ready, because you really don’t want to miss this.
The official program of our Mall will end on Sunday around 6:00 PM, but you are all warmly invited to float into the after-show party with us and enjoy the afterglow for as long as you like.
Set-up & dismantling
We are a participatory festival where we all pitch in together to ensure an unforgettable time for everyone.
Setup and teardown dates:
- June 1, 2026 – June 5, 2026
- June 8, 2026 – June 10, 2026
If you help out during setup and/or teardown, you’ve more than fulfilled your shift! You’ll have „time off“ during the festival and have earned our eternal gratitude. Do you want to help bring the Mall magic to life or stay until the glorious end? Food will be provided. Your help naturally counts as your shift, meaning you’ll have the festival off (aside from other typical Mall activities).
If you can’t make it to help on-site before or after, you also have the option to lend a hand loading and unloading the van in Berlin.
If you want to be part of this (setup / teardown / loading the van), please sign up in this spreadsheet by May 20th (see Telegram Group)
Ribbons & Admission
It’s important that you pick up your wristband as soon as you arrive so we can give you all the relevant info! More details to follow.
Camping
The campsite is located right next to the festival grounds. To make sure there’s enough room for everyone, we’ll be coordinating where tents go. Please try to save space—meaning it’s better to share a 3-person tent with two or three people rather than sleeping in it alone. Unfortunately, it won’t be possible to set up large camps with pavilions or similar structures.
But don’t worry—there are plenty of cozy spots on the grounds to spend time with your loved ones! <3
If you urgently need a bed for health or other reasons, shoot us an email at nimmermeer@outlook.de and we’ll try to arrange something for you.
Cars
Campers and cars cannot be parked on the campsite; they have their own designated area nearby. We can’t make any exceptions here, so please plan ahead if you absolutely want to camp right next to your loved ones.
Drinks
There will be a bar on the premises where you can buy delicious drinks around the clock. We try to keep the prices as low as possible!
Unfortunately, the tap water on the site is not suitable for daily consumption. However, we will make sure that there is enough drinking water on site for everyone!
Food
Your financial contribution already includes a flat rate for food. This covers a warm meal on Friday & Saturday evening, as well as a breakfast buffet on Saturday & Sunday morning/noon. Please bring your own plates, bowls, cutlery, cups, and whatever else you need to eat! We’ll also have snacks available during the day, but feel free to bring some of your own little treats as well.
All food will be completely vegan.
Sanitary facilities
Sanitary Facilities: There are several toilets and outdoor showers on the site. Please only use biodegradable soap in the outdoor showers! We’ll have a small amount available to buy, but it’s best to just pick up your favorite one beforehand.
Fire Safety: Since we’re hosting the festival in the summer, it can get particularly dry. Please dispose of your cigarettes in the ashtrays we’ve provided or bring a pocket ashtray! Open fires and gas stoves are strictly prohibited on the campsite! Instead, we’ll set up a small area on the grounds where small gas stoves can be used. But please only do this if it’s absolutely necessary.
Paramedics
Medics: Our medics are here for you in case of shopping cart accidents and acute shopping-induced illnesses. You can find them at the Medic and Awareness Base, recognizable by their orange vests. We’ve set up a small emergency clinic in the Mall, but please remember to pack your own travel pharmacy (Ibuprofen, blister plasters, etc.).

Photos & Videos
Of course you can take photos and videos at the festival. However, please make sure that you do not include any strangers in your photos without their consent!
We will also take care of the professional documentation of the festival.
Swimming in the lake
There is a lake right by the festival grounds. You can cool off there and take a break from the festival hustle and bustle. In the afternoons, there will be lifeguards, but only directly at the main site. Look out for each other, especially when visiting the two swimming spots further away, or when the lifeguards are off duty.
Glitter & confetti
Small plastic particles in the ground are impossible to remove and harm people and nature. Therefore, please only use biodegradable glitter and confetti!
Telegram group
We’ve created a Telegram group for all attendees. In addition to the latest info about the festival, you can use it to team up for your arrival and departure. You can join here: https://t.me/+6nmLPQeFN0NhMmYy
